Hours before the conference in Copenhagen starts I’m still in the office working on the review of the European financial Regulation. Uffff, it’s boring but necessary. I want to make a difference. Therefore I won’t go to Copenhagen. Are you planning to go?
Several people have asked me but I’m fed up with protests. I’m done with the World Social Forum strategy. We don’t need to speak to the converted but change people’s vision and behaviour… starting with yours.
Stop telling governments and corporations what to do. Just do it. if they don’t behave just replace them.
this is my contribution: I won’t have a kid but will raise the one of Alberto’s and Catherine’s living together in a 100% carbon-neutral house. I limit my consuption of meat, fish, water, alcohol and drugs. I have sex only on Sunday using condom so I don’t impregnate neither infect anybody. I don’t have a driving licence nor wear a furcoat. I don’t buy dimonds but create a bursary for a student in a developing country every year. I’ve just taken part in an experiment to test a new HIV therapy and realized the at the father of my former assistant Daniel has quoted our consultation on the European financial regualtion at his job interview.
I don’t go to Copenhagen because I fight the climate change and embody sustainable development everyday… without mentioning my new acid apple green spectacles. Isn it cool?
