UK: £5million for Merseyside social enterprises
A £5million (7.25m) project has been launched to support social enterprises, community groups and voluntary organisations on Merseyside in the UK.
The project will be delivered by the Merseyside Single Procurement Vision (MSPV) initiative has been established by the Plus Group, South Sefton Development Trust and The Riverside Group with the help of European funding.
It aims to help third sector organisations identify possible growth areas, and to provide support to help them take advantage of these new opportunities. Ultimately, it hopes to strengthen Merseyside's social enterprises and ensure their sustainability through the creation of new partnerships and consortium arrangements.
