http://ocw.unu.edu/ocw/Courses_listing

The main idea behind UNU free courses is to make the materials produced and used by UNU Research and Training Centres and Programs available free of charge to anybody. You will find a good list of topics, including government, technology, water, health and the environment. Please note that the courses do no provide credits or certificates.

Great Ideas is a monthly podcast featuring Johns Hopkins University researchers and scholars in lively conversations about the most interesting ideas in science and technology, the humanities and the social sciences. A lot of interesting and stimulating topics – ranging from political sciences to communication, technology to health. Not strictly related to non-profit though, but still inspiring.

AlertNet

http://www.alertnet.org

Reuters AlertNet is a humanitarian news network based around a popular website. It aims to keep relief professionals and the wider public up-to-date on humanitarian crises around the globe. You will find an interesting and useful set of tools and services designed to make life easier for reporters, fact-checkers and editors when covering humanitarian emergencies. Their suite of online tutorials – designed to give journalists the edge when covering humanitarian emergencies – is also well worth checking out.
