Citizens and organisations from everywhere (Brazil, India, USA, Spain) are illustrating with photos the unfair situation in which many people find themselves and the work being done to support them. These photos are being exchanged and shared though internet-based services of photo albums. These services also allow users to play with images, to make comments, to store the photos for them to be included in other websites, to organise virtual photo exhibitions, etc.

The ten examples selected to show the potential of this tool relate to Palestine seen by the famous American journalist David Berger; to Brazil, where the Foundation for Children in Risk reports its work in programmes of drug and violence prevention and its rehabilitation projects to help street boys and girls; to India, where a NGO called Tolfa helps abandoned animals and combat the rabies; to USA, where a volunteer called Mike Lee tells his experience working for a week in the rehabilitation of homes for unprivileged people; to Argentina, where the ?Club Leonés Alta Córdoba? helps blind people; to Ceuta, where an anonymous person is collecting photographs related to protestations against the Ceuta fence and in favour of the rights of migrants who try to cross the frontier; to Madrid, where volunteers from the International Civil Service show their task in international work camps; to the work of the photographer Mariana Pessah, who illustrates demonstrations to support women’s rights; to the work of Carlos Salcedo, who photographs the situation of Saharan refugees living in Tinduf; and to the photo gallery which has been automatically formed with the English expression ?Fair Trade?.
