Spain: recycling with social inclusion.

Recycling and sometimes even social inclusion. In about half a year Vizcaya will be given the first, specific project in Europe on recycling voluminous materials. 70% of 33 workers who will be involved are people that receive today social subsidies and that will have the chance to start working. This peculiar initiative was promoted by the municipality of Vizcaya and by Rezikleta and Amaus Bilbao, not for profit associations, which have worked on the project in the last two years. They have created Berziklatu, the first mixed European company, owned by the State and the third system that clusters not for profit institutions. The platform will be put in the municipality of Ortuelle, where the unemployment rate is 10% and 5% of population receives subsidies for minimum wage.
