CIDEAL, Centre of Research and Co-operation for Development, has created an Internet portal to inform about migration and development in Southern countries. The purpose of the portal is to make people more aware of the opportunities provided by the migratory flows between the countries of migrants? origin and host societies.

This portal, which is the first one of this sort in Spain, is addressed to migrants themselves but also to public administrations, NGOs, financial organisations, research and training centres, enterprises and society as a whole.

The portal collects research, specialised texts, articles and summaries of initiatives undertaken in relation to co-development particularly in Ecuador, Colombia and Morocco, the three major countries of migration in Madrid. It is supported by the government of the Autonomous Community of Madrid.

The portal also offers practical information for current and potential migrants and provides a forum where to share queries and experiences in the field of co-development.
