Caja Madrid will fund seven social projects with 140,000

Caja Madrid will fund seven social projects developed by non-profit making institutions with 140,000 ?.
One of them, the Red Cross, is conducting a project called ?The elderly in the network? and its aim is to extend the use of new technologies among the elderly.
Caritas will improve the living conditions of the offenders by looking after them. The ?Fundación San Cebrián? is creating a special employment centre as well as improving the conditions of its flats for psychically disabled individuals.
Two old age homes will also benefit from this support, while the last project is run by the ?Asociación Síndrome de Down? and involves early care for these individuals.
All these projects are located in the Spanish province of Palencia.
