SenseCamp UK is a social enterprise un-conference that brings together social entrepreneurs and social business enthusiasts. Taking place in  London on the 8th of June at the Hub Westminster, the event is hosted by  MakeSense, an open-source global community of passionate people who use their skills, knowledge and experience to tackle business, design and technology problems facing social entrepreneurs.
Around 200 Sense-Makers from London and across Europe are meeting at SenseCamp UK  for one full day of inspiring talks, interactive workshops and networking. It is a chance to collaborate on ideas, share knowledge, solve challenges for social entrepreneurs and extend the MakeSense community around the UK and beyond.
The agenda for the day is set by the participants themselves who pitch the ideas they would like to present  and call upon fellow attendees to join them in solving a specific problem or discussing a new project. The format  blurs traditional notions of speakers and listeners and creates a highly interactive experience of shared learning and development.
This year SenseCamp aims to bring MakeSense to lots of communities across the UK, creating “Hotspots” that connect social entrepreneurs and their enthusiasts spread across the UK. The HotSpot Kickstart Program, that will run in parallel to SenseCamp,  will enable attendees to create dynamic communities of social entrepreneurship enthusiasts in their backyards, catalyze local social innovation and develop a practice of creative and participatory problem solving.  Kickstarting will begin at SenseCamp, but it will be the start of an engagement with the MakeSense global community. Post-Camp will help attendees in-situ and online to get their Hotspot off the ground and sustain it for growth.
