Finally, I’ve got a place on the beach. The first building in the Social Innovation Park is almost ready and an office with a view on the gulf has been reserved for me.
This is part of Euclid’s partnership with the park. It grows month by month and the flagship product is almost ready to be launched: Hiriko.
It’s a revolution in urban mobility as it combines public transport with a car-sharing system pay-as-you-go using electric cars produced locally. Designed by MIT and a group of Architects including Gehry, Hiriko has the potential to become the first large scale social innovation project which meets environmental, social and economic goals.
The European Commission is informed and getting very excited. My task is to make them even more excited and this is not difficult as Gorka keeps on feeding me with Basque food and wine. Excellent team work!
