Macedonia to plant trees on November 11
The “Tree Day-Plant Your Future” Campaign at its 4th edition. Mia – Macedonian Information Agency reported.

Under motto “Imagine Macedonia in Green”, fourth campaign “Tree Day-Plant Your Future” will be held in Macedonia on November 11, when 7,5 million seedlings would be planted at 3,674 hectares.
The campaign will be conducted at 120 sites in 32 municipalities throughout Macedonia.
Kristina Nikolovska, member of “Tree Day-Plant Your Future” board, said science and practice have demonstrated that this period of the year is most suitable for such campaigns.
According to Anton Sereci, also a board member, the association is just the campaign initiator, while citizens are the ones who implement it.
He informed that Norway expressed its satisfaction from the campaign, whereas association representatives have been invited by the Norwegian Prime Minister to pay a visit to the country and receive a grant for support of a regional campaign.
Sereci stressed that the spring campaign would be held in Albania, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Slovenia.
“Macedonia and Tree Day will be the centre of developing ecological awareness and afforestation of neighbouring countries”, he added.
Association “Tree Day-Plant Your Future” urged citizens to come out in masses and support the campaign.
