Learn about entrepreneurship in five days
ThinkYoung is organizing its Entrepreneurship Winter School to raise the confidence of young Europeans in developing their own business ideas, concepts and start-ups.
Entrepreneurship is the key to solve the current European crisis. With this persuasion ThinkYoung , “the first think-tank of young Europeans for young Europeans” , is organizing its third edition of the Entrepreneurship School in Brussels from 21 to 25 January 2013.
The Entrepreneurship Winter School is being launched to provide young Europeans the opportunity to practically learn about core business values and to inspire them through a programme organized by entrepreneurs for young entrepreneurs. The added value of the School is that in times of crisis ThinkYoung plans to encourage new entrepreneurs to overcome the fear of failure.
For five days, youths from all over the world will learn from experienced entrepreneurs how to create a successful business. Speakers will be experts from different fields and entrepreneurs from different EU countries.
The event is organized by ThinkYoung together with Google and the European Institute of Industrial Leadership. It will take place at Science 14 Atrium, ThinkYoung’s location partner, situated in the heart of Brussels.
Through five days, participants will be involved in seminars, workshops, business cases and networking events, through a very practical method: no classrooms or professors, only real entrepreneurs passing on real business experience directly to the students. During the sessions, participants will be able to interview the speakers and learn from their individual experience.
Young aspiring entrepreneurs will also have the unique opportunity to attend a conference at the European Parliament, hosted by Pablo Zalba MEP. Within this conference they can take part in a debate with a representative from the European Commission, DG Enterprise and Industry, Unit of “Entrepreneurship”.
Participants will then have a unique trip to the European Parliament where they can learn about decision-making in Europe.
