The Enviroment agenda has progressively become an important part of international politics and a subject of major interest for democratic governments. This new reality demands new professional training in this area, to offer a greater possibility for success in any potential intervention in this field. The Master in Rights of the Enviroment of the University of Siena incorporates a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach in order to integrate different knowledge bases and expertise. The same attention is given to training activities aimed at intervention in practice. The Master is carried out with the coopration of Legambiente, one of the most important Italian enviromental organization, and offers a one year program, encompassing 200 hours of classroom-lectures and other 200 of stages in law firms, courtrooms, Legambiente, scientific institutions and research corporations. The lectures will be held partly by teachers of Siena University and partly by visiting professors from Italian and foreign universities and study centers specializing in the field. The Master addresses both people actually involved and those who wish to become involved in international or regional enviromental activities. It also seeks to attract those who wish to reach a general understanding of this subject as it is linked to their own professional needs, and people who consider a deeper knowledge of ennviromental rights necessary for their own educational development. www.dirittopubblico.unisi.it/news/48/master-diritto-ambiente
