Cariplo Foundation helps small towns to avoid waste of energetic resources. Launched a 1,5 million euro programme
di Redazione
Cariplo Foundation focus on towns with less than 20.000 inhabitants with a dedicated call expirating next 14 July. The Foundation allocates 1,5 million euro in order to reduce waste of energetic resources in town halls, schools and other real estates of municipalities. Towns will have the opportunity to check and fix their wastes such as doors and windows not closing watertight, inadequate lighting system, obsolete boilers and any other inefficient systems. The program will concern approximately 1600 small towns in Lombardy and Novara and Verbania provinces, in Piemonte. Sustainability is one of Cariplo Foundation's favorite topics: another call published in the first months of 2006 can count on a 3,5 million budget to promote sustainable management of superficial waters. www.fondazionecariplo.it
