Italy: natural holidays of WWF are back
WWF presents its 2006 catalogues which propose nature holidays for adults and families and adventure camps for children from 6 to 17 years

WWF has presented its 2006 catalogues of "nature holidays" for adults, family and children. The adventure Camps for children fron 6 to 17 years, celebrate this year their 30th anniversary and involve every year up to 5000 primary school children and about 2000 young people from secondary school. WWF President, Fulco Pratesi, says that that these camps have been fundamental to improve citizens ecological awareness. ?Most of the children and young people that have been trained in the first Camps have maintained a sense of love and respect for the environment?. Adventure camps for children from 6 to 11 years include excursions, sailing courses, horse riding. For children from 11 to 14 and from 11 to 14 there are many opportunities in Europe: sea watching in Spain, camping in Corfu, Malta to learn English. Young people from 15 to 17 can choose among several programs such as Canaries islands camps, cycling in Holland, whale watching and turtles study along Sicily coasts and others. For families there are 16 proposal in Italy and 7 in Europe: among others cruising along Greece and mountain bike in Abruzzo. WWF Nature Holidays make use of fair trade products.
