For the second year, Palais Brongniart, ex headquarters of Paris Stock Exchange, will open its doors to innovation. On the 2nd of December it will host a very special listing session, called
Innovation Stock Exchange (
Bourse de l’Innovation):
no shares and traders, but innovative projects and long time investors.
The overall session will have a duration of one hour. The start-up project leaders who have been selected will have the opportunity to present their projects in front of a large public, made of investors, institutions representatives and potential partners, who will have to raise the rating of the best innovations.
Starting from 4 pm, eight listing sessions will take place in an atmosphere recalling the Stock Exchange of the 50’s. Every project leader will have to present his innovative project in 2 minutes. At the end of the sessions, the three best performing listed innovations will receive the “Prize of the public of the Stock Exchange of Innovation”.
The Innovation Stock Exchange will be followed by the awards ceremony of the Grands Prix de l’Innovation de la Ville de Paris, that will be chaired by Jean-Louis Missika, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of Innovation, Research and Universities, and hosted by Jean-François Galloüin, Director General of Paris Région Lab.
The Grands Prix de l’Innovation, this year at their 12th edition, are aimed at supporting the development of innovative enterprises in the Île-de-France region in high-growth sectors and to reward those who, through their innovation, improve the life of the city of Paris and develop the Parisian economy. The City of Paris has entrusted the organization of these Grands Prix to the Laboratoire Paris Région Innovation (PRIL).
Eight laureates will be rewarded. Every candidate compete in one out of six categories: Digital contents, Eco-innovations, Health/Biotech, Services to Enterprises, Services to Individuals, Digital Technologies. Candidates will have as well the opportunity to participate to the special prizes: Design and Social Innovation.
