Ok, this website is not social in the usual sense of the word but there are plenty of parents out there who will love what this online game promises to do to their kids. HighScore House is the latest game to come out of the USA and aims to “empower your children to earn the things they want”. The philosophy goes back to the North American founding principle that hard work pays off. Specifically, the game gets children to carry out household tasks like tidying their room, walking the dog or mowing the lawn, as they complete their “missions” they earn points that they can redeem for the rewards, like one extra hour of TV.
Players can see how they are doing online or through the available mobile app.It may not be world changing or revolutionising but with 175 thousand tasks already completed it sounds like it will be a popular companion for children and parents alike.
