Take over the world around you
Today we would like you to make some time to explore the world around you. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been living there all your life or you’ve just moved to a new city. Today we’re asking you to slow down, take your camera and document what’s around you.
We are so used to rush everywhere that we often loose touch with what’s around us but walking around your street, your neighborhood or your town with a camera can help you be more aware of the environment and the people around you. Like Lester Burnham said at the beginning of the film American Beauty “There’s so much beauty in the world”, so take some time to observe and enjoy the beautiful things you walk by everyday without even noticing them.
Taking photos will also help you see the negative aspects of your community. In that case it’s not too soon for your New Year resolutions and what resolution is better than bringing about positive changes in your community?
