There’s no doubt that winter is the laziest season. We all need some sort of motivation to leave our warm quilts and get out of bed. We can’t sleep the winter away. After all social innovation doesn’t go into hibernation.
For the first time Forbes has dedicated one of its lists to social entrepreneurship. Read the stories of people like Ashoka founder and chief executive, Bill Drayton and Jane Chen, whose company produces a sleeping bag-like device called Thermpod, which warms low-birth weight babies in hospitals and clinics that have unreliable electricity and heat lamps that not always work.
