A unique event linking young to big leaders

AIESEC’s international Forum for the first time in Italy

di Cristina Barbetta

On 10 May 2012 the Youth to Business Forum, the international event for young and big leaders organized by AIESEC, will be hosted at the University of Turin. The event, at its first edition in Italy, has already been hosted in more than 20  countries in the world.

The Forum will revolve around three  leading issues: environmental sustainability, innovation and diversity.  It will link the best young leaders, namely  200 students coming from the major Italian University, to many  companies and NGOs, with the aim of enhancing  social change and exploring the impact that young people can have on the world through their positive actions.

Both young and big leaders will share and create  ideas together: the Forum will be the place of confrontation between today’s and tomorrow’s leaders.

In the morning it will be possible to participate to workshops and discussion groups regarding the  three main issues. The morning session will be an opportunity toconfront and interact with companies  and NGOs, among which: PwC, Danone, UniCredit, Fondazione ISTUD, KPMG, Bureau van Dijk, Cesvi, CISV, Virtuhub, Made in Carcereand many others.  Young people will be the protagonists of the afternoon session.

Present in over 110 countries and territories and with over 60,000 members, AIESEC is the world’s largest student-run organization. Active since 1948, AIESEC is a leader in developing human potential and in offering young people professional experiences in an international environment.
