The Transnational Network for Social Innovation Incubation – ‘Transition’ is a30-month EU funded project that supports the scaling-up of social innovations across Europe by developing a network of incubators which brings together established partners within the fields of social innovation (SI) and innovation-based incubation (IBI).
Between January and April 2014 TRANSITION will organize six Spark Session Workshops in the six cities where TRANSITION Scaling Centres are located: London, Paris, Milan, Bilbao, Tampere and Galway.
The first TRANSITION Spark Session will take place in London, on the 30th of January 2014. Existing and would-be social innovators will discuss challenges, share ideas, build networks and learn more about the programme that started in early 2014.
The day will inspire and support participants as they build knowledge, understanding and connections to develop their social innovation. Experienced social innovators from the UK and beyond will come together to share experience, advice and stories of success.
This multi-year project will help attendees build an idea, group, campaign or venture through bringing together the best practice of social innovation support programmes from across Europe.
