The UK Social Enterprise Awards 2013 are now open.
The sector’s flagship awards, now in their 15th year, are organized by Social Enterprise UK. They recognize organizations for their business excellence and contribution to society, as well as the achievements of people working at the heart of the social enterprise sector.
This year there are 10 categories, some of which are new, plus an award that recognizes five individual champions of the sector. The Awards celebrate the pioneering work of Britain’s social enterprise movement, businesses that are regenerating communities and changing lives.
The headline sponsor of the 2013 awards is The Independent on Sunday.
All 10 main award categories are open to social enterprises, but some can be entered by investors, corporates, public sector bodies and charities. All the categories are open to organizations from England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Click
