“Nothing can change. Unless you have an idea”. Following this motto, the
Youth to Business Forum, AIESEC's
international event aiming at fostering youth entrepreneurship, returns to Italy for the second time.
Around 300 students, coming from all over Italy, will gather on 9 May at Turin University– Department of Economics to discuss, together with companies, organizations and entrepreneurs, how to capitalize on the talent of new generations to bring a positive change in Italy.
In the morning participants will have the chance to meet 4 keynote speakers: Alessandro Rimassa, Riccarda Zezza, Donne al Volante and Marco Masella, who will inspire students telling them about their experiences and their stories. These 4 role models will show students that realizing their dreams and ideas is possible, even in a country, like Italy, that seems distant from the needs of young people. Youth and companies will confront in workshops on four leading issues: innovation, environmental sustainability, nutrition and diversity. The participating companies and organizations are: LinkedIn, Danone, UniCredit, McKinsey&Company, KPMG, PwC, Bureau Van Dijk, and the NGO Cesvi.
In the afternoon youth will be the protagonists of the forum. Within four “Open Spaces” students will present their best ideas and transform them into entrepreneurial ideas with the support of the attending companies. The best ideas will be awarded at the closing ceremony by the companies, that will commit to support their future realization.
Piero Fassino, Mayor of Turin, and Francesco Profumo, former Italian Minister of Education, will greet the 300 young students during the closing ceremony.
The Italy Youth to Business Forum has received the patronage of the European Commission and of the City of Turin.
