15th Summit on Service Innovation in the City
An event that social innovators should not miss

A pivotal gathering of social innovators will gather together today and tomorrow, 23 and 24 November in Eindhoven, Netherlands, to take part in the 15th Summit on Service Innovation in the City.
The event is an occasion for social entrepreneurs and investors, business leaders general public to discuss about some of our society’s major challenges, such as climate change, life with chronic disease and ageing and the new investment partnerships needed to transform public services.
The summit is promoted by Living Labs Global a non-profit organization based in Copenhagen which aims to promote innovation in services and mobility in cities. Living Labs works with 50 cities in the world and more than 450 companies and innovation centres.
The organization partnered with the city of Endhoven, as it is considered a pioneer in implementing new approaches to becoming a zero emission community. The city also boasts the world’s most interactive urban lighting system and it is a place where citizens have the latest technologies at their disposal to maintain a high quality of life, even when suffering from chronic diseases.
A this year’s event representatives from Barcelona, New York City, Stockolm and international non-profit organizations, including Ashoka will meet business leaders and social innovators that are trying to solve the world’s most pressing problems.

New York city sharing presenting its Active Design Guidelines ,connecting health and architecture to citizens more physically active and healthy and Ashoka’s sharing their perspective in supporting 3500 social entrepreneurs in 60 countries to tackle a wide range of social challeneges in cities are some of the highlights of the event.
