Last month, civil society representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine met in Brussels and discussed common issues, including democracy, economic integration, energy security and contacts between people. The aim of these multinational talks was to try and reach a common regional stance and extend an inquisitive hand to European institutions. The result? Complicated with a hint of promise.
