Fighting the global food crisis through consumer co-operation

The objectives of this event are to present the actions taken by consumer cooperatives to counter the food crisis and the food price inflation. Views on the food crisis will be presented by members of the European Institutions. Representatives of the European consumer and farmer cooperatives will actively contribute to the debate.

EURO COOP is the European Association of Consumer Cooperatives. Its primary objectives include representing to the EU institutions the interests of consumer cooperatives and their 25 million consumer-members across 18 European countries.
