Workshop on third generation human rights

The workshop on third generation human rights for young volunteers, journalists and activists, organized by the OneWorld Platform for SEE (owpsee) Foundation, in cooperation with Trentino con il Kosovo (TCK) starts today, December 1, in Peć/Peja.

The workshop will introduce to the participants the concept of third generation rights (group and collective rights, self-determination, economic and social development, healthy environment, access to natural resources, communication, cultural heritage and intergenerational equity and sustainability), their importance in contemporary world, ways to improved them, but also their various misgivings.

This workshop on third generation human rights marks the conclusion of the series of four workshops organized by owpsee and TCK aim to create multimedia and multilingual editorial office composed of young journalists and activists from different communities and media from the Pec/Peja Municipality, in view of future cooperation of the ZOOM Centre, Radio Gorazdevac and other local partners in the areas of content production and providing news to the local community of Pec/Peja.

The first workshop, on reporting for traditional print and electronic media, and radio reporting, was held on October 6-11; the second workshop on networking was held on October 20-22; and the third workshop, on Free and Libre Opens Sources Software (FLOSS) was held on November 11-14, in Pec/Peja, in the premises of the ZOOM Centre, with participation of 8-12 young journalists, volunteers and activists from Pec/Peja-based organizations.
