Bruxelles hosts a conference on traffiking in human beings

The conference on "European Approaches Towards Data Collection On Trafficking In Human Beings“ will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels on 18-19 September 2008.

The Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration in Vienna has the pleasure to invite you to attend the conference on „European Approaches Towards Data Collection On Trafficking In Human Beings“ taking place at the European Parliament in Brussels on 18-19 September 2008.

This event is taking place in the framework of the EC programme on “Prevention of and Fight against Crime”. During this event the Austrian government in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration in Vienna will present the preliminary results of their efforts to develop European guidelines for the collection of data on trafficking in human beings.

The conference will gather representatives from EU MS, EC, EP, national parliaments, IOs, NGOs, academia, media and other stakeholders.
