Looking for a job in the non profit sector? Forum3 is the ideal environment. Launched in 2001, forum3 has firmly established itself as a must-attend event within the sector’s annual calendar. With over 150 leading arts, charity, volunteering, social care, housing, local government and other not-for-profit organisations attending, the event provides an opportunity to match those looking for a role in the sector with those looking to recruit.

The idea for holding an annual not-for-profit recruitment event was hatched by Charity People, one of the UK’s oldest and most respected recruitment consultancies in the field.

Forum 3 enables attendees to meet with prospective employers in a face-to-face environment and compare employers in a live environment. Key exhibitors of this year include Barnados, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Camden Arts Centre, Cancer Research UK, Coral Cay Conservation, Diversity Milkround, London Fire Brigade, National Theatre, Raleigh International, Royal Opera House, Terrence Higgins Trust, The Food Chain, The Tate and World Vision – all of which are looking to meet with jobseekers to fill vacancies across a broad range of areas.

Debbie Hockham, director, forum3 comments:
The not-for-profit sector can offer strong career prospects for those looking to change or enhance their career. The sector offers people the opportunity to contribute to something they believe in and leads the way when it comes to equality and diversity. However in the past, the sector has been stereotyped as one which isn’t as dynamic or well-paid as the commercial sector.“forum3 is designed to dispel this myth through showcasing the numerous opportunities which exist across the arts, charity, volunteering, housing, local government and other not-for-profit sectors. For those with an interest in working in or progressing a career in the not-for-profit sector it is the must-attend event of the year.

In addition, the event offers practical advice on career development through 70 seminars taking place on a variety of subjects from getting a foot on the not-for-profit career ladder and how volunteering can enhance careers to securing a role in international development or becoming a trustee.
