Campaigner's toolkit step four.

di Staff

Traditional social networking sites are just the beginning of online activism. Don’t forget that there are a host of specialist networks dedicated to specific campaigning fields, where you will find an audience already tuned in to hear what you have to say.

Are you campaigning for human rights? There is Amnesty, of course, but if you are looking for something more grassroots try: the HubWittness, a global, interactive platform for human rights campaigners.

Is the colour of your campaign’s flag green? Check out Ecolive.tv or Beturtle to find out what other eco-campaigners are shouting about.

Or are you a social entrepreneur who has something to tell the world? If so don’t miss out on SocialEnterpriseTv, a website to share and learn about social enterprises.

Don’t feel like any of the above fit you? No worries. There are networks out there that host all social and environmental causes, like Care2
