Naked Facts is the fifth anti-trafficking campaign, under the motto Women are Not Meat; Children are not Slaves; People are not a commodity , implemented by ASTRA, an NGO that fights human trafficking. The campaign aims to raise public awareness and to warn the state institutions about the problem of trafficking in human beings in Serbia which is often neglected, in a society increasingly tollerant to violence and human rights violations.

The NAKED FACTS are presented by Jugoslav Ćosić, Milutin Petrović, Ivan Tasovac, Dejan Anastasijević, ?eljko Bodro?ić, Branislav Lečić and Vuka?in Marković, who were selected as men that maintain their professional and personal credibility and are known in the public for their insistence on the truth.

In the six years of existence, ASTRA has received over 7,500 calls on its SOS phone lines, and has identified 264 victims of trafficking, 40 percent of whom were children and minors. They were all provided short or long-term assistance in the field and in ASTRA Day Centre, reintegration programme dedicated to women outside the safe-houses.

Serbia is country of origin, transit and destination of human trafficking. In fact, internal human trafficking, with victims sold from one city to another, never leaving the country, is on the rise. Sexual exploitation is the dominant form of exploitation, be there are also cases of trafficking with slave labour.

The Campaign is supported by OSCE Mission to Serbia and ADA (Austrian Agency of Development and Coopertation).
