Serbia: Programme to support social welfare transition

All local associations and informal civic groups from Serbia are eligible to apply for budgets through BCIF's Active Communities and Social Transition programmes

The Balkan Community Initiatives Fund (BCIF) accepts applications for its Active Communities and Social Transition programmes. All local associations and informal civic groups from Serbia are eligible to apply for budgets of up to 350,000 Dinars.

The Social Transition Programme aims to support the process of social welfare system transition through donations of up to 15,000 EUR to locl nongovernmental and non-profit organizations that apply proactive and creative approach to social issues.

The next deadline for application expires on February 28, 2008 .

The Active Communities programme in Serbia is implemented with the support from the Institute of Sustainable Communities (ISC), under the auspices of the Civil Society Advancement Programme, financed by USAID.

The Social Transition programme is implemented in cooperation with CNF CEE Cooperative of Dutch Foundations.
