Good practices from Denmark are about to conquer Europe. Engodsag.dk is a Danish company that fundraises for good causes. How? By getting companies to sell online through their website, and allowing them to donate up to 25% of the selling price to an organisation of their choice. In February 2008 Engodsag.dk will be launched in Italy, Germany, Holland, France and Sweden to raise funds for all kinds of organisations and charities.

In Denmark the goodcause network has achieved a startling success raising 300 thousand euros for charity in 2 years and 175 thousand in January to August 2007 alone. More than 115 organisations, including Amnesty International, the Red Cross and Save the Children, benefit from the donations of over 300 registered companies. Companies like Dell, Avis and Amazon that attract business from the 61 thousand people who click on Engodsag.dk every day.

The names of the organisations that will be able to benefit from the first proceeds of the European launch in February have not yet been revealed, but Lisa ? Lotte Aagaard, spokesperson for Engodsag.dk, has said that ?at first the offer will be open to a select few, about 15 organisations per country? although it can be expected that more will be able join shortly after.
