Italy: Pavarotti makes a generous donation
A new neonatology centre in Modena, Italy, will be inaugurated in October thanks to the generous donation of the Pavarotti family

On the 12th October, Pavarotti?s birthday, Nicoletta Mantovani, his wife, will inaugurate the new neonatology centre in Modena. The donation, which has been kept secret until today, will be made in memory of Riccardino, their daughter Alice?s twin, who died in childbirth. The project began two years ago when Pavarotti and his wife Nicoletta decided to make the generous donation to the city where the great tenor was born, and now also place of his death.
