A new website has been launched to let fundraisers and researchers of all over the world share knowledge and information about funding for the non-profit sector
A new website has been launched to let fundraisers and researchers of all over the world share knowledge and information about funding for the non-profit sector.
The website – www.fresource.info ? is a useful tool for professional and voluntary fundraisers. In UK there are over 190,000 registered charities. Some of them have professional fundraisers others, mostly the small ones, have to pay external experts to research sources of funds.
The website includes databases of publications, products, tools and links from which develop existing sources of funding and establish new ones, and lists of global voluntary sector and fundraising organisations, articles on fundraising and prospect research.
Mathew Ide, director of fResource.info, said: ?It?s the world?s first prospect research community and it?s the first time that fundraisers? prospect tools have been listed in one place. A lot of the information we have on the site is unknown to most fundraisers.?
The site has been planned by fundraising consultancy Hands on Resources.
