ITALY: Sentinelli: 300 milions of Euro in addition to help development
This is the request of the italian Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs with enabling act to cooparation, in a letter sent to the Minister of Economy, Padoa Schioppa.

300 milions of euro is the amount in addition requested by the Assistant Minister, Patrizia Sentinelli, to help development. In a letter sent to the Minister of Economy and to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Massimo D?alema, she explained that a change in the international politics cannot be postpone any longer for a country in the bottom position about allocations to the developing countries. The fund?s amount is to this day the 0,1% of the PIL, so very far away from the purposes undersigned at the table of the United Nations, where Italy promised to reach the 0,7% of the PIL within the 2015. ?We must enhance contribution and arrive to 600 milions of Euro within the 2007?. www.esteri.it
