LATVIA: North Vidzeme regional waste management plan 2006 2013
Last week has been approved Cabinet Regulations project elaborated by the Ministry of the Environment On North Vidzeme regional waste management plan 20062013
Necessity of this plan is established by the ?Waste Management Law? which defines content, procedure of deliberation and approval of North Vidzeme regional waste management plan 2006 ? 2013 (henceforward ? Plan). Aim of Plan elaborated by the Ministry of the Environment is to ensure information and action program that is necessary for establishment of waste management system compliant with legislation in the respective region. Also in Plan main activities for improvement of waste management system, institutions responsible for implementation of activities, amount of necessary financing and potential financing sources are defined. www.vm.gov.lv
