Latvia: virtual Hospital for e-health solutions

During the Baltic IT&T 2006 Conference together with Latvian partners “Virtual Hospital” for e-health solutions was established. The goal of this initiative was to give the society of Latvian doctors opportunity to gain an insight about different IT solutions, which can resolve doctors and health management needs.

“Virtual Hospital” is as a common view of the system of the health care; this “Virtual Hospital” will resolve doctor’s needs, patients needs and health institutions needs. There were presented solutions, which ensure economical functions and needs, at the same time audience was introduced with document management system, management solutions, project administration and ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning).
